Meek says he didn’t do it. Do you believe him?
Have we been wrong about Meek Mill all this time?
After Remy Ma‘s “ShETHER” came out, many people — including The Game —assumed that Meek talked dirty about his ex Nicki Minaj to Remy and gave her ammunition to include in her diss track.
Remy says as much in the song, rapping, “And I saw Meek at All-Star, he told me you’re a** dropped/He couldn’t f*ck you for three months because you’re a** dropped/Now I don’t think y’all understand how bad her a** got/The implants that she had put in her a** popped/I was like, ‘D*mn, 90 days and you couldn’t have box?'”
In a new interview with Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning though, Meek defended himself.
“She put me on blast, too,” Meek said, after Ebro — who was also mentioned in the song — asked Meek why he didn’t warn him about Remy’s diss track. “By the way, too, I never told that to Remy. And if she ever do an interview, she’ll probably tell you that herself.”
“I was just participating in all of the bullsh*t because when I’m in bullsh*t, everybody participate in it, too,” he added later. “And I don’t really give a f*ck.”
Are you buying it or nah? Meek also chimed in on that incident with Nicki’s ex Safaree Samuels, who was reportedly jumped by Meek’s crew.
“I’m done,” Meek said. “I’m out of that situation with the girl. What I’mma do? I ain’t got no problem with him. But for everybody else, too, when you get up in that, remember, it’s a certain way. I’m from Philly. We handle things a certain type of way.”
Meek must have been in a talking mood because he even offered a comment on his old beef with Drake, saying, “I think I could have approached things better, but it is what it is.”
